"Automotive reincarnation" Myanmar (Burma) Things to Do Tip by CliffClaven

The Sule Pagoda, standing on the same spot for 2500 years, now serves as a traffic island in downtown Yangon. Although there are now plenty of Japanese vehicles clogging the streets of the city, it is still a carspotter's paradise. Like Cuba for old American gas-guzzlers, Burma is the country where British cars go to end their motoring days. The classic British cars of the 1950s - the Standard Vanguards and Morris Minors - seem to have found their way to Burma in search of some kind of automotive reincarnation.
