A few 100Ms north of the Place de la Concorde you can find the church La Madeleine. This neoclassical church is built in the style of a Greek temple, surrounded by 52 Corinthian columns. After about one century of designing and construction this church was completed and consecrated halfway the 19th century.

The Place de la Madeleine is surrounded by luxurious epiceries and there was also a flowermarket.
