Cabinas Brisas del Mar: "Cheapest and Relaxingest" Costa Rica Hotel Tip by gramboman

For $10 per person per night, guests will enjoy a humble room with two beds, hot water, and a personal outside hammock (one per room). This accomodation is walking distance from the beautiful Parque Nacional.

The entrance road to Cahuita is very bumpy.

Unique Qualities: The owners have two parrots that giggle and squeal like children!

Our favorite place to dine is at "Cha Cha Cha!" - we wanted to go again the next day, but it is closed on Mondays

A bumpy 10 kilometer drive on the main highway going south from Cahuita leads to the town of Puerto Viejo (de Talamanca), which has great beaches, restaurants, crafts and dancing. We only got a glimpse of the place, but felt it's worth recommending.

Address: Cahuita
Price Comparison: less expensive than average
Directions: At the east corner of the school in Cahuita
Phone: 755-0011
Price: less than US$20
Theme: Pension/Guesthouse
