Whidbey Island Things to Do: 46 reviews and 49 photos

This is a view from the back side of Fort Casey. After it was built a huge bank was filled infront for protection from shelling. The towers that you can see are spotting towers for the guns. From the water you can only see the top 3 feet of the towers, making them hard to hit with shells. All the tunnels, rooms, and artillery storage are open for exploring. Be sure and bring a flashlight as they are very, very, dark.
The park here is a great place to fly kites and in the summer the sky is filled with kites.
