  Antonine Temple

The Temple of Antonine – when it was built in the 2nd century AD, the temple sported a courtyard surrounded by porticoes, long since gone. The temple was dedicated by M Acilius Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus, between the yeasr 166 and 169.

Just outside the temple is a fountain and the headless statue of Flavius Tullus. He was responsible for water in Sabratha by commissioning the construction of an aqueduct.
