  Chester Cathedral

The Cathedral is 11th centrury with 19th century Gothic restoration by Gilbert George Scott.
Donīt miss the carved 14th century choir stalls, Scottīs West Window and the facsimile of the original manuscript of Handelīs Messiah. There is also a refectory where you can make a cofee and cake stop, and you may be lucky enough to catch one of Cathedralīs frequent organ recitals or choral concert.
