This is a really nice park situated within the city. I accidentally stumbled upon this beautiful area while driving through. I got out of the car, and began walking. When you walk through this area, one minute, you know you are in Colorado, but the next, you would swear you were in Arizona! Yucca bushes everywhere, and the scenery is just plain gorgeous. You will have to see it for yourself.

To get there, drive south on Academy until you reach Maizeland. Take a right on Maizeland, then take another right at the park entrance. Follow it until you pass an Overlook. After passing the overlook, you will go over a hill and see a dirt road on the right. Follow it to the dead end.
