Its most famous Landmark is the Winthrop Tower, located on the West end of Winthrop Hall. The tower was built in 1931, and stands tall over the beautiful Reflections Pool, that was dug in 1932. Winthrop Tower is the tallest building on campus. The University is also known for its beautiful gardens throughout the campus. With over 200 species of plants and trees, and 55 species of birds.
