"Australian National Botanical Gardens (1)" Australian National Botanic Gardens Tip by Kate-Me

I was expecting this botanical garden to be European flowers and plants as most traditionally are in Australia, but instead what we found was a huge area with everything from rainforest to glasshouses and a very strong emphasis on Australian native gardens and plants.
It is so large we barely saw a fraction of it, and we even went back again (though that time we didn't get much further than the pleasant surrounds of the cafe)

Address: Entrance on Clunies Ross St, Acton, Canberra
Directions: On the lower slopes of Black Mountain, near the turn off to the Telstra tower.
