  Thermal Springs Pammukale
by mad4travel

At the end of the 2nd century B.C. the dynasty of the Attalids, the kings of Pergamon, established the thermal spa of Hierapolis also at Pammukale.

The ruins of the baths, temples and other Greek monuments can be seen at the site.

You can go in the thermal baths. The complex has an air of municipal swimming pool about it.
The bath themselves are more like large pools, with bits of ruins at the bottom that you have to be careful not to scrape your legs on. It is more of a pool for lounging than swimming.

It was an ok experience but I could'nt say I felt any better for doing it.
