This is without a doubt THE BEST pub in Braunschweig. And not only due to the fact they broadcast rugby matches when noone else in town will! The only problem is getting the Australian game on ahead of those of the Europeans but I gave it a good fight :)

The owner is such a nice guy. He is Irish and took over running the establishment from his brother a few years ago. He is always ready for a chat and is incredibly welcoming. We had some Aussie's visiting us here when the famous State of Origin was on at home. He opened the pub especially for us at 10am in the morning just so we could watch the game. Whatta guy :)

Apart from showing sporting matches live, the pub also features live muisc on Friday and Saturday nights, a student night on Monday's and a trivia night on Tuesday's. They also serve delicious Irsh brews of course and if you want some fish and chips to accompany your beer ou can do that too :)

Dress Code: Pretty casual but more dressy on Friday and Saturday's nights compared to the Saturday and Sunday afternoon sporting sessions
