Unsuprisingly as a Brit I like British music! Well Chicago is a great place to see what woud be in the UK a HUGE band, yet in the States would be tiny. Check out venues such as Martyrs, The Vic, Double Door and Riveria for more intimate gigs (i saw Keane - a band which is still in the Top 10 album charts in the UK for over 10months i think!!) in front of about 200 people!!!! Best off registering for Jam mail - they send you a list of acts playing and then you go and buy the tickets from the venue rather than them!! Great deal huh!!
