We stayed here the first two days after our wedding, because we didn't want to go back to our hovel of an apartment on our wedding night. So to start the honeymoon early, we stayed with these nice folks in an old victorian era house. Jim and Sarah are two very nice people. They are willing to help you find your way around Raleigh and find things to do while here...and she cooks the best scrambled eggs and french toast I have ever had. Unique Qualities: The room was comfy and cozy and most of the rooms, in fact, I think all of the rooms have private bathrooms connected to them. They have a grand piano downstairs, a nice front porch and a beautiful back garden with private parking. They even have an extensive video library and a television and VCR in each room so you can watch a movie. They have discounts for business travellers sunday through thursday as well.
