"The Lookout and Views" Upper Swan Things to Do Tip by keeweechic

Upper Swan Things to Do: 52 reviews and 72 photos

As you drive into the park from the Beechboro Road end you will come across a lookout tower. Not very high but you can look out over the park and distant landscape. There are boards to describe the various views you are looking at. To the North are one of the largest areas of banksia woodland on the Swan Coastal Plan. The 1,500 hectares of vegetation is home to a pair of wedge-tailed eagles plus several mammals which are now rare on the Swan Coastal Plain. These include a honey possum, black-gloved wallaby, quenda and echidna.
