IKEA (yes really): "If the money begins to run out......" Oslo Restaurant Tip by sourbugger

If the old money situation is getting a bit tight then consider a visit to one of the two IKEA stores on the outskirts of Oslo.

A free bus runs from the centre of town (see shopping tip on IKEA) about every half an hour.

The restaurant itself is just like every other IKEA - with a selection of pasta / meatball / salad type dishes at low prices. A bit utilititarian, but a useful place to 'fill-up' if you intend to look around the store anyway.

They also have a hot dog bar just behind the checkouts, which must be some of the cheapest ones in Norway.

Favorite Dish: Meatballs - and the same to you.

Address: IKEA superstores
Price Comparison: least expensive
Price: US$11-20
