  St Paul's Catacombs

The catacombs are not far from St Pauls Church - just follow the signs for them. They are on the outskirts of the city walls of Mdina in Rabat as Roman law prohibited burials within the city. The Catacombs of St Paul is the largest burial complex in the area and comprises several large catacombs. Some of the ceilings are low so if you are tall, watch your head!

The St Agatha catacombs are smaller but have some more interesting colourful frescoes on display.

There is a small entrtance fee to pay to visit both of these catacombs.
