Roti Malaysian Espresso Café: "Malaysian and South Indian Cuisine" Wellington Restaurant Tip by wkcsmt

Wellington Restaurants: 115 reviews and 97 photos

Good value lunch - Roti Special . The menu has a selection of dishes from popular curries to sambals, noodles & rice dishes, and vegetarian dishes. Since there are a number of good Malaysian restaurants in town, I normally come here for the Indian cuisine, eg. dosai dishes (rice / lentil crepes), murtabak (spicy potato or meat-stuffed griddle bread / roti)... If you want nasi beriani (a traditional Indian rice dish where the rice is tinted with turmeric & tinged with saffron, served with meat), you'll have to do a special pre-order & I believe it is only available on Thursdays & Fridays.

By the way, this is a licenced restaurant / café.
