It is not enough just to visit St. Peter's. You must go to the top.

It is a bizarre experience to go to the top of St. Peter's and walk up the stairs leaning in over what you know is the cuppola, suspended hundreds of feet in the air. You wonder "when this was built hundreds of years ago, did anyone consider that overweight tourists would be packed in here going up and down"?
