The rockformation in the ocean of the coast of Puerto de las Nieves is called the finger of God (Dedo de Dios). But it is not so special as they would like you to believe. The rocks are basalt and rise 30 meter out of the water. But they are so close to shore it is not very spectaculair.

Unique Suggestions: Go on a sunday. That is the day the locals come to Puerto de las Nieves. They come to stroll along the harbour, to swim or go fishing. And at around two they all want to have lunch at the same time. It is a hassle to park your car, but the atmosphere is worth it. And do go for lunch around one and beat the lines.
