The food was quite good albeit overpriced and the service was great. We dined here before going to the Met as it is known as something of an opera tradition. They claim to have won an award for the best pizza in NY but we chose to forgo the 20$ Margarita pizza and instead had a risotto special with seafood and peppers that was very tasty, fried artichokes that were like little delicious artichoke chips and fravioli which were little pastry shells filled with cheese and fried with thinly sliced prosciutto and sobressata on top to start, then a variety of entrees of which I had open faced lasagna which was delcious and enormous, so don't order it if you are not ravenous!
Favorite Dish: The deserts were the best part of the meal....a lemon tart with carmelized sugar and whipped cream on top and fresh raspberries on the side, a chocolate mouse with fresh whipped cream that they serve from a giant silver vat and homemade tartuffo were all equally excellent but the mousse is an experience.
