Tendido Cero: "Bring Your Own Rioja" Tendido Cero Tip by londonbabe

This is an excellent option for interesting, reasonably priced food if you're staying in the Earls Court area. On Old Brompton Road, about 5 minutes walk from Earls Court Road, it's a very unusual thing - a good London restaurant where you can bring your own wine. And there's a wine merchants next door, or pop into Oddbins on Earls Court Road.
The tapas dishes are all generously proportioned and fairly priced - 5-6 between 2 would be a good meal, for around 15-20 a head.
The most expensive dish is the Serrano ham, at 14 a plate. No need to spend that much though, when there's a lovely range of fish and vegetarian dishes (the white asparagus is delicious).
Staff are very friendly and don't take any notice whether the bottle you bring in is a Reserve Rioja or the cheapest Chilean!
However, thanks to all of this, the place is always busy, even on Monday and Tuesday nights, so call ahead for a table for dinner, especially at weekends.
** STOP PRESS* They've now taken out some of the tables at the front and replaced it with a deli display, so you can buy bits and bobs of olive oil and tinned veg on your way out.
