Dapur Sunda: "Good Sundanese Food" Indonesian Tip by traveldream

Indonesian, Jakarta: 52 reviews and 74 photos

Dapur Sunda means Sundanese Kitchen. This restaurant serves Sundanese (West-Javanese) food. Grilled or fried fish, chicken, vegetables, etc. With the hot 'sambal' (ground chili). If you are not used to spicy/hot food, taste the sambal a little first. But if you like spicy food, you'll like it.

Favorite Dish: - "Gurame Cobek" - grilled gurame fish served with a lot of sambal. Very spicy.
- "Sambal Tempe "- tempe (soybean cake) cut in small slices, served as additional ingredient with sambal.
