"The Girl with a Dolphin" Tower Bridge Tip by easyoar
Tower Bridge, London: 308 reviews and 521 photos
The Girl with a Dolphin was created by David Wynne in 1973 and is very close to Tower Bridge. This statue is included in many more photos than it probably has a right to be in. As a statue, it is pleasant enough, but you wouldn't go out of your way to see it if it was against a brick wall for instance. The reason it is so popular is that it makes a great foreground when taking a picture of Tower Bridge.
The statue itself is on the same side of the River as the Tower of London, but you need to cross over the road that passes over the bridge to get there. The statue is right next to a Thistle Hotel.
