"Wheelchairs accepted!" Getting around Tip by babybassethound81381
Getting around, London: 121 reviews and 111 photos
Favorite thing: I liked London because it was so accessible, which is a hard thing to find when you want to travel from a chair. The only thing I couldn't access easily was the subway, or "Tube", as they call it. So if you are planning a trip there, bring a little extra cash just for cabs. This rule applies for most locations, but I was happy to find that most places are accessible, including Stonehenge, Westminster Abby, and most of the hot springs in Bath.
Fondest memory: The people were so happy to talk about their London lifestyles. I would hang out with local merchants as much as possible and try to avoid only hitting tourist attractions. I made lots of friends there, so don't be afraid to meet new people!
