Surakarta: "Somewhat expensive Indonesian food" Top 5 Page for this destination Leiden Restaurant Tip by rsilva

This is a very nice-looking Indonesian restaurant in the center of Leiden.

The service is excellent and the decor is very pleasant.
However, I discovered I might not be a big fan of Indonesian food. My course (Nasi Rames) was sweet and sour, but mainly sweet (a lot of peanuts, peanut butter and coconut) and not really to my liking.

My girlfriend, on the other hand, had the Cumi Cumi, which are stuffed squid in a sauce (I guess it was coconut). The filling was octopus, if I am not mistaken. This was much better.

I am sure that you will like it a lot if you are into these flavours. I would still go there again.

I think it was quite expensive as we paid almost 55 Eur for only a starter, two main courses and a dessert (plus drinks).

Favorite Dish: The "Cumi cumi" was very good.
