"Parisians are insane" Paris Transportation Tip by muddychain

Paris Transportation: 1,508 reviews and 1,491 photos

My original plan was to drive into Paris and park near our hotel and from there rely mostly on the metro for transportation. After severeal reproachful arguments, I was given the advice of parking at Disneyland Paris (off of A4, follow the signs to Disney Village). From there my train ticket into Paris cost 12.20 euros, and I parked from Friday morning to Monday afternoon for 27 euros. Once we got into Paris, I could see that I had been justifiably insane to consider driving, even in the off season in January. Parking is hard to find (especially if your car is larger than a Twingo or VW Golf), and can be expensive; not to mention that no one is afraid to hit you! A three day metro ticket is only 18 euros for the city, I would not recommend driving if it can be avoided.
