Alaskan weather can be very difficult...youšll notice it if you read more of my tips. The weather changes so quickly and the temperature drops can be huge, especially in the Spring and Fall. It would be easier if cold would be cold and warm would be warm, but no, that is not a law in Alaska. The sun treats Alaska on its own way:) When the Summer starts, the sun just shines and shines, very close. And the air can be very cold despite of it. You have your layers and wind jacket on and it breezes oh so chilly, so the last thing you would think is a sun stroke.

Of course it can happen anywhere, but believe yours truly tells you...:) Finland is almost as same latitude as AK. I have never got sun stroke ther eor anywhere. But what happened in Ak? I went on a lake, on a very chilly day...hrrr....and got a sun stroke. Not nice. So remember cover your head, even a scarf is better than anything.
