This is the most beautiful Baroque work art in Ljubljana.
The arqchitect who conceived this masterpiece is unknown, but it is easy to see his links with the northern Italian Palladian school of late Baroque. In the interior of the church, which is not painted, is a high altar, the major work of francesco Robba. The paintings on the side altars are by Valentin Metzinger.
