After very warm welcome of Kristi we entered Jaleo restaurant. I saw huge, colorful and loud interior. I learned again that in many U.S. restaurants you have to wait to be seated by the restaurant staff. Although it was busy Friday we were seated right away at long table, which made sense given the size of our group.

We ordered some drinks and started to search the menu which was not that simple for me, not mention Urszula. They didn't have menu in Polish and, shame on me, I am still not familiar with all these complicated names of dishes. Well, before leaving the USA, I got big USA Cook Book by Sheila Lukins from Nat. Thank you, Nat. I promise to learn more on American food before my next trip.

Well, Nat explained me that the reason the name of these dishes was hard for me was because they were Spanish. Many Americans unfamiliar with it, particularly if they come from Roxboro, have trouble too, he added. Poor me, I didn't know what that word "Roxboro" meant :-). Now, Nat explained me that, let me quote him: "Roxboro is a small town in North Carolina relatively near Raleigh and Durham where some of my dumber kinfolks live". Well, I was in Raleigh but never in Roxboro.
