  Adelaide Hills just outside Adelaide

The crow-eaters of Adelaide sure like their city, though it will not become my favourite city of Oz. Fair to say is that it was wintertime when I visited, with lots of rain and it was cold too. I even had to wear shoes again. I have to say though shopping here is cool, with lots of shops you will not find elsewhere. There are quite a few nice building to be found here too.

My favourite memory of the city though is that I found this small candy store in an ally where they sold loads of liquorice. I had the last dutch liquorice half a year earlier when I was in Echuca and now I had finally found more. It's funny though, at home I never eat the stuff but then when you're away you ten to miss the things that you only have back home.

Anyway surrounding Adelaide there are loads of things to do. You can go to the Adelaide Hills, to the famous Barossa Valley for some wine sampling and of course Kangaroo Island, which is quite expensive to get to.
