Throughout the province the Ontario Heritage Foundation marks people and places of historical significance with its famous blue and gold plaques. There are currently over 1200 of them that cover an array of fascinating topics from the Discovery of Insulin to the Persons Case, to World Championship Wheat, to the Noronic Disaster.
