Favorite thing: Contrary to Warsaw, Krakow was almost not destroyed in WWII. Krakow's most famous architectural sights are situated on Wawel Hill or in the Old Town.

Many other architecturally intereresting buildings can be found in the former Jewish district Kazimierz or in the social-realist suburb Nowa Huta. I recommend to always keep your eyes open when wandering through the side streets of Krakow. You will realise that there are many worth-seeing buildings.
