"Halton County Railway Musuem" Milton Things to Do Tip by MissAntarctica2002
Milton Things to Do: 8 reviews and 3 photos
Just north of Milton is the Halton County Radial Railway Museum. It is a surprisingly interesting attraction, covering many forms of mass transit in addition to the railway. The Musuem sits on the site of the former Rockwood railway stop. It has acquired many different rail cars, streetcars and buses that have been restored, or are in the process of being restored to their former glory. Admission to the musuem also gets you unlimited rides on the museum's train that day. This is a great attraction for families and railroad afficionados of all ages.
Admission is $9.50 for adults, 48.50 for seniors 65-90, $6.50 for youths 4-17, and free for those under the age of 4 or over the age of 90. Group rates and special tours are available on request.
The museum is closed for the winter from Halloween until May 1 each year
