"The big bronze lady" Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island Tip by Jasoninlondon

The statue of liberty is huge. You can see it by catching the ferry from Battery Park. The island the statue is on is great for a walk, but the lines can be very long in summer. In winter there is no line and it looks just as good.

Address: In the Hudson River
Directions: South Ferry at Battery Park - Take the #5 train to Bowling Green or #1 to South Ferry
