5. FAST AND EASY DRIVING
There are many freeways (called interstate) for fast and easy driving (never more than 75 mph though, often 65 mph). Main highways are mostly multilane. Surprisingly I almost never had to pass other cars on 2-lane highways. Americans drive mostly very carefully, peacefully and with some elagance, I could say.

6. FEWER TRAFFIC JAMS THAN MOST THINK
I was told horrors about huge traffic jams in the USA. It is NOT truth! I never saw any traffic jam on interstate except a few times because of closed lane (road works or an accident), slow traffic may happen in rush hours close to exits in urban areas (Los Angeles and Washington, DC aglomeration especially); generally the traffic goes smooth, better than I experienced in many European countries (Italy, Greece, Spain).

7. WELL SIGNED ROADS
Highway and freeways are very well and wisely signed (watch only for sharp exits, slow down on time).

8. CHEAP GAS
Gas in the USA is dart cheap, at least in comparison to over-taxed European gas.

9. FLEXIBILITY AND FREEDOM
Driving a car means flexibility and freedom - key feature of my all trips.

10. I LOVE DRIVING :-)
Should I move to the USA, a car country?
