  Scenery along the yellow waters.

There is no doubt that Kakadu national Park is an area of the Northern Territory with prolific wildlife and spectacular wetlands. There is also no doubt that a boat cruise on the famed "yellow waters" at sunrise or sunset will enhance your view of this beautiful area of Australia.
Yellow waters got its name from the numerous pollons and flowers that float on the surface of the water which, when the sun hits them in the early morning hours, give the appearance of peaceful yellow waters.

Directions: Boat tours depart from Gagudju Lodge, Cooinda.
