Imhoff-Stollwerck Chocolate Museum, Cologne: 33 reviews and 58 photos
Learn everything about the history and the making of chocolate here. You can watch people make chocolates as well as you can walk through a jungle where cocoa beans grow.
There are a lot of old chocolate vending machines and old TV ads which I liked best. And you can even try a bit of chocolate from the chocolate fountain (which Steve liked best ;)!!!
After having spent a while in the museum with its smell of chocolate a visit to the museum shop is unavoidable of course. Here you will be trapped and you will buy all the chocolates you would never buy in the supermarket ;)
Address: Rheinauhafen 1A, 50678 Köln Altstadt
Directions: The museum is on an island in the river Rhine. It's just 10 mts walk along the Rhine from the cathedral and the old town (go south).
