Da Pino is a superb place for the traveller to dine in Dublin. Owned and run by a mixed Spanish and Irish family, the restaurant is casual and cheerful. There are no less than four menus of various sizes and shapes to boggle the mind. The vast range of dishes cover the Italian and Spanish kitchens with superb pizzas and big pasta servings. The house red is a Spanish Rioja, which should give you some idea of the good taste brought to bear on the offerings. The restaurant is on the corner of Dame and Parliament Streets, practically across the road from Dublin Castle and a short walk from Trinity College. It is much frequented by discerning Dubliners as well as visitors so it´s a great place to relax and observe us ´natives´. Midweek is generally as regards getting a table but it´s advisable to book on the weekends.
The restaurant also does a lunch special with a set menu for 7 or 8 euro. Well worth a try.

Favorite Dish: Pizza Vesuvio is my favourite pizza though all the pizzas are really substantial and tasty. Tortellini Salsa Bianca is my pasta choice though a bit heavy if you´re not into creamy things. The Ravioli Bolognese is also superb.
