"Helsinki Uspenski Cathedral" Uspenskin Katedraali (Uspenski Orthodox Cathedral) Tip by johnsakura

  Helsinki Uspenski Cathedral
by johnsakura

This is a big red-brick Russian Orthodox Cathedral located on the west edge of Katajanokka. This church was built back in 1868 with Byzantine-Slavonic. Its interior follows the rules of having great and enourmous painted icons. During the night this church looks also good.
