"Seagulls of Del Mar" Top 5 Page for this destination Flora & Fauna Tip by Pawtuxet

Flora & Fauna, Del Mar: 3 reviews and 3 photos

The seagulls come so close to the tables, I was sometimes holding my breath that someone wouldn't lose their lunch! One man was being plagued by a swooping bird who seemed to be toying with the idea that he might drive the guy away from his lunch rolls. Some of the waitresses don't find it amusing, but I rather enjoyed watching them up close. They actually behaved rather well, all things considered.

Janet, you were lucky they didn't attack you or your food! I could tell you stories about the times those buggers attacked our food relentlessly. At some points it was actually dangerous!

No such luck. I was too busy trying to keep the birds from baby--she was about two when this happened.
