  County Hall
by J.I.M

The County Hall was built from 1911 to 1958 (the two world wars meant construction was slow) and for many years housed London's government, in the form of London County Council and the GLC.
Today, it is now a leisure complex and has the London Eye ticket centre in it, Dali Universe, the Saatchi Gallery, London Aquarium, a Namco Entertainment area, London Marriott County Hall and a Travel Inn. There are also some restaurants in it.

Address: 1 Clink St, London SE1 9DG
Directions: It's right beside the London Eye. Closest tube station is Westminster or Waterloo.
