"Berlin Zoo" Tiergarten and Zoo Tip by sabsi

Tiergarten and Zoo, Berlin: 94 reviews and 205 photos

  Bao Bao the Panda
by sabsi

Berlin Zoo is the zoo with the most kinds of animals in the world. They even have Pandas - I have never seen a zoo that has them anywhere. "Bao Bao" and "Yan Yan" are the pride of the zoo.

The zoo itself is huge. You can walk around for ages. Make sure to cross the bridge to the other part of the zoo as well to see the lazy kangaroos (my favourites. But always asleep when I visit).

There's also an aquarium connected to the zoo but as I don't like fish and spiders I was happy to leave it again quickly ;-)

A day ticket to either zoo or aquarium is € 9, € 7 for students, for kids (aged 3-15) it's € 4.50. A combined ticket for zoo and aquarium is € 14, € 11 or € 7.

Address: At Bahnhof Zoo
Directions: In the city centre, right next to Bahnhof Zoo (hence the name ;)
