Luggage and bags: We travelled with back packs, but in the case of Santorini, I don't think it matters either way. Just be aware that the walkways are often uphill, so go light on your packing.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Good walking shoes are a must, but suggest very comfortable sandles, with light cotton shorts and t-shirts or short sleeved shirts. Bring multiple changes of underwear to remain 'fresh', or launder frequently.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: We found that Santorini offers everything a traveler may require. However, a good quality body talc may be helpful to prevent jock itch.

Photo Equipment: Once again, the shops are well stocked with photo accessories, but expect to pay a premium for these items. Perhaps an extra set of batteries specifically for your camera may prevent lost photo ops.

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Bathing suits and light cotton shirts are plentiful on the island. The trunks appear to be reasonably priced, but the white, loosely weaved cotton shirts were expensive.
