Bell Rock, one of Sedona's four major vortex sites, makes for a lovely early morning hike. It is a great place for prayer and meditation and is reputed to be the best spot in the area for communication with extra-terrestrials. Whatever your reaons for visiting, a hike up or around Bell Rock will leave you at once both invigorated and at ease with the world.
Notes:
Red Rocks pass required. You can get a day pass at most gas stations in Sedona.
Directions:
Take 179 south of town for a couple of miles. As Bell Rock grows before you, look for a small dirt parking strip on the east side of the road.
