"Visit the Statue of Liberty!" Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island Tip by J.I.M
Statue of Liberty - Ellis Island, New York City: 412 reviews and 681 photos
Of course, you can't go to New York without visiting "Liberty Enlightening the World" or the Statue of Liberty as she's more commonly known!
The USA and France recently had some friction over the Iraq war, but I like to think that the Statue of Liberty represents the remaining long-lasting alliance between the two nations, as the copper statue itself was a gift from France to the USA in the late 1800s.
