Roznov pod Radhostem / Rosenau am Radegast is a small town about 60 km east of Brno .
The major attraction of that town is a large museum of old wooden houses, that were taken down at many places all over Czechia and were rebuilt in Roznov in a way that you get the feeling to be inside an old village.
The museum consists of 3 parts that you may visit seperately or with a combination-ticket.
1)The Mill valley, consisting of different kinds of watermills and you may visit it by guided tours only, that will include demonstrations of the mills working like in the old days.
2)The wooden village is the oldest part of the museum, down in the village and it includes a great church, cemetery, a post-office, grocery, merry-go-round, beehives etc.
3)The Vallachian village up on a hill nearby, including many farmhouses, horses, sheep, geese etc.
Also the town of Roznov is nice for a little walk.
You may take the train in order to get to Roznov pod radhostem or road #35 / E 442
