"Middle Eastern bistros/ restaurants" Wiesbaden Restaurant Tip by merak

Wiesbaden Restaurants: 47 reviews and 39 photos

You reach some of the best Turkish restaurants whith the buses 3, 6, or 33, stop Michelsberg. In the street going down to the right or
Wellritzstr.: Harput (not serving alcoholic drinks), and some bistros. Urfa, a few Euro cheaper.
Bleichstr. (in front of Bus stop): Star Kebap, kitchen from SE Turkey.
From Hauptbahnhof Buses 4, 14, 27, 45 to "Bismarckring". Walking back, on the corner of Walramstr. is the restaurant Cappadocia, from which I reccomend the "Tagesteller", the daily stew, served whith rice, salad and bread for only 5 Euro.

The best white bread in town is sold by bakery Firat (turning down left from Wellritzstrasse). One pide (nearly 500 g) for 90 cent.
Other fine baked things are to be found at rather low prices at Günay, on the corner of Wellritzstr./ Schwalbacher Str. There a pide costs only 80 cent and nice specialities to taste are their Kekse whith cheese and herbs (Käse und Kräuter) and nut-cinammon (Nuß mit Zimt) for about 40 cent each.
