There are many cities in the US that can boast of having a "Chinatown", however I think the one in San Francisco is the real deal. Street signs are in English and Chinese as you walk through this ethnic neighborhood. It is busy and has some of the best Chinese restaurants that you will find. There are also shops and markets where you can buy many unique items. Sometimes, you will feel as if you had indeed crossed the Pacific. This area is an excellent example of why San Francisco is such a cosmopolitan city. It is within walking distance of downtown and is also accessible by various modes of public transportation.

Address: Bordered by Broadway, Bush, Kearny, Stockton sts.
