on highway 96 west of franklin, past highway 46 and almost to the place where highway 96 and highway 100 intersect (approx 10 miles), the natchez trace parkway crosses above highway 96 by means of a huge bridge. this bridge is absolutely gorgeous; it is worth the short drive to see it.
