DuPont Lodge: "One of Kentucky's Hidden Jewels" Top 5 Page for this destination Cumberland Falls State Park Hotel Tip by Stephen-KarenConn
Cumberland Falls State Park Hotels: 4 reviews and 7 photos
Solid hemlock beams and knotty pine paneling compliment the massive stone fireplaces in historic Dupont Lodge, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. The lodge is operated by the state of Kentucky. There are 52 nicely appointed rooms, many of which have a splendid view of the Cumberland River. Amenities included a restaurant, a museum, and conference rooms which can accomodate up to 300 guests. Special activities are provided throughout the year. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here on a January week-end, and because it was the slow season rates were very low. Rates are actually quite reasonable even in summer.
